There are things happening in our lives that we have no control over. There are situations all around us that tear at our soul and weigh our spirit down. The last thing on our mind or in our thoughts is to laugh. Yet, that is exactly what God desires us to do: Take some time to laugh. Remember the times of laughter, for it will be our comfort.

 I declare that this week’s Reflections will be a continued source of encouragement and inspiration for your heart, mind, and soul. Allow the joy of the Lord to fill your soul and strengthen you. Though things may be heavy and you are certain there, is nothing to laugh about; allow God to fill you with laughter. Take the time to open up your heart and find delight in at least one thing, and let the healing begin. Remind yourself of those things that brought merriment to your heart.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to laugh or to smile when you feel as though there is nothing in your life to feel joy over or to laugh or smile about. However, there is Beloved. Even when we cannot see it, there is something to smile about, to have joy over. There is always something to laugh about, to be happy about; especially if you serve a great and mighty God.

There joy in the Lord, joy in His promises. There is joy in the fact that we are alive. We can take joy in the fact that there is a God, and He cares for us. Whether we understand the situations or circumstances we face, we can still have joy. We can smile with confidence that God has worked all things out concerning us. God will never leave us or forsake us, but will also be here to see us through. That alone is a reason to be joyful. When filled with joy, you will find that there are things that will bring laughter to your soul.

Remember the times when you laughed, those days when your heart was light. Recall the people and things that brought laughter to your heart and soul. I seriously believe there is a special place for comedians. For those who can bring laughter in the midst of sorrow and pain.

If you cannot think of a thing to laugh about, then I have a suggestion for you: Laugh at Satan! Yes. I said it! Laugh at the devil. Laugh at his lies and his attempts to defeat you when God has already declared you the winner. Laugh at his attempts to sidetrack you when you have fully yielded to Holy Spirit and are walking in the victory. Laugh at his tricky words and acts of deceits because you know that it is not you answering the door, but Jesus Himself. Moreover, when the enemy wants to remind you about your past and discourages you about your future; boldly remind him of his certain fate, as written in the book of Revelation. See how fast he stops laughing!

This is what I know: God is here for us and with us. There will always be situations in our life that will try to come, steal our joy, and rob us of peace. There will be situations where there seems no plausible reason to laugh. However, we must learn how to hold on to the promises of God. We must learn to walk in the peace and rest of God, trusting Him to take care of what He said. We must teach ourselves to embrace laughter, to find those pleasant things in life and take joy in it.

When my mother transitioned, it is one of the most heart-wrenching things I have experienced. My mother was a woman of joy and laughter; even through pain, she would find a reason to laugh, make a joke, and smile. It took her time to get to that place, but she made it there and she gave that to me as a gift. She shared her humor effortlessly with others. She was my own comedian. It hurts so bad at times to think of her not being here, but then I hear her in my spirit. I hear her admonishing me about the promises of God at this was not a goodbye, but a see you later, and that she is watching over me and sees everything! That was our private joke about death. She would say, just think, whatever you do, I will see it. You cannot hide anything from me then! I’d laugh so hard, just what she wanted me to do. I find myself laughing and remembering the joy she brought into my life and still brings. I laugh at the memories and embrace the joy and comfort that comes. Though my heart is heavy from her departure, it does not overshadow the love and laughter she brought and planted in my life.

This is what God wants us to remember, Beloveds: through all the pain and loss, remember the joy and happiness that occurs along the way. Smile at the good times. Cherish those times of laughter and joy. In the end, it is those memories of joy and laughter that will bring you comfort and strength to move forward.

My Beloveds, may the spirit of peace and prosperity finds permanent rest in your lives. I decree that every good thing that God has ordained for your life will become evident to you. Remember the times of laughter. Draw on those memories and allow it to bring comfort to your heart and soul. Take joy in the Lord and His promises. Do not allow the lies and the voice of the enemy to overshadow the voice and promises of God in your life. Take joy in the Lord. Remember the laughter, always. It will be a source of strength. You are blessed. Now go…and be a blessing!

"Did You Ask?"

I declare and decree that this week’s Reflections will be a continued source of encouragement and enlightenment for your heart, mind, and soul; bringing you peace in every area of your life. Do not be afraid to make your petitions to Lord be known. Let this week find you walking in confidence and faith. Believe in God to answer your requests. Spend intimate with the Father so He may fill you with His wisdom.

Do we really ask for what we want, anymore? Do we ask God what He thinks; for His wisdom? Has disappointment and unanswered prayers kept us from asking God for what we desire? Do we no longer seek God for His instructions? Many have suffered disappointments. They find their faith, not at a level it may have been once before. Yet, God will remind us to ask; to speak aloud and ask for what we want and to ask for His wisdom.

There have been times when God has asked me, did you ask for what you want? Did you ask for My wisdom or opinion? I had to ask myself, did I ask God? Did I submit my petition to the Lord? Did I seek His counsel before doing forward with certain plans? Did I assume the answer would be no, or the prayer was not going to be answered? Did I think this was the will of God for me?  I had to search myself. Because there are times when my faith has not been on the level it should have been, and times I have acted hastily without seeking His counsel. Sometimes the cares of this world can overwhelm us that we begin to move with the current of the world, and not the current of God. We forget the promises, we stop seeking His will, we succumb to what only our natural eyes can see, and we often forget about all the answered prayers we previously received, Our memory becomes shortened because we have moved out of faith and have begun to walk by sight.

It is not hard to overlook the one simple act of actually asking. When we are caught up in the way things appear to be, often times God is the last One we go to. When we seek Him, we are not asking or seeking, but instead telling God what we need, and informing Him of made up plans. I am guilty of this behavior. I either have asked but did not believe or have confidence in what I was asking for. Or, I did not ask God or seek His will, and went ahead with plans that were not favorable or what God desired for me.

1 John 5:14-15 (AKJV) 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: 15 and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Jeremiah 29:11-12 (AKJV) 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

For many of us, our confidence has dwindled. We no longer ask boldly or according to God’s will for our lives because we have not spent any quality time in the presence of our God to know His will for our lives. We lack understanding, faith, courage, and wisdom. We have no confidence in God; no confidence that He will answer when we ask. We have come to this sad conclusion because we do not know God. We have no knowledge of who our Father truly is. If we have no knowledge of who He truly is, then how can we ask and believe that whatever we ask for, He will give it to us. How can we know that He blesses our plans?

Beloveds, it is time to seek the will of God for our lives. It is time to ask God to fill us with His knowledge and wisdom. So, that we will understand and believe in our hearts that whatever we come to Him for, He will indeed answer us. We have been on a lone search for answers for far too long. Too many of us are crashing and burning when all we need to do is seek God. Seek His will, the Kingdom of Heaven, and ask God in confidence for what we want.

We have made decisions in our lives and wonder at our failures or the uncomfortable situations we find ourselves in. This is when we ask ourselves, did I ask? Did I ask God for direction, His will, and His instructions? Or, did I just do what I wanted or what someone else said I should do without seeking wise counsel?

The pendulum swings both ways. Will we receive everything we ask for? No. For those with children, would you give your children everything they asked for? God has given us freedom to choose. That includes the paths we take. Whether or not we desire to listen and heed to His counsel. We cannot blame God for the actions we take when have not sought Him or His will. When we have not asked for what we want, or for His directions.

My Beloveds, may the spirit of peace and prosperity finds permanent rest in your lives. I decree that every good thing that God has ordained for your life will become evident to you. God will answer, and sometimes His answers are not what we were expecting, but He is answering. Be confident in knowing that God does hear you. Never allow fear to keep your heart closed to a Father that only desires the best for you; whether you are seeking an answered request or His wisdom concerning a situation or direction; ask. You are blessed. Now go…and be a blessing!

"Not For God"

There is so much going on in the world today, that it is causing fear in the heart of many, anger in the others, and hopelessness in countless others. Some things seem impossible; the road ahead filled with uncertainties and impossibilities. The Father has consistently reminded me this week: The situation may look impossible and perhaps it is for me, but nothing is impossible for Him.

I declare and decree that this week’s Reflections will be a continued source of encouragement and enlightenment for your heart, mind, and soul; bringing you peace in every area of your life. Stir up your faith. Remind yourself that God is still in control no matter how uncontrolled the situations may be. Spend some quality intimate time in the presence of God this week; allowing Him to remind us of Who He is and what He has promised you.

If I were to go, by the way, things appear today; I would never want to get out of bed or even think of the promises of God. So many things are taking place; things that are out of my control and all I know to do is call upon God and ask Him to come through. To, show up and show out, keeping true to His word.

Many times I have had, my faith pushed and tested this past couple of months. I will not lie to you: it has been excruciating and at times exhausting. I have felt pulled in so many different directions that I feel like Gumby. Do you know what God said asked me? Do you trust Me, daughter? Really God? You see what I’m going through and that’s Your answer to my prayer? Do I trust You? Of course, God simply says, “Yes. Do you trust Me? Yes or no?

Before I answered, I had to search my heart and truly ask myself if I really trusted God. Did I truly trust Him as I said? Did my heart really believe in what God has spoken? Or was I like so many others, only having faith and trusting God when things were going my way and the way I thought they should be going?

At the end of my self-inspection and heart check, I had to admit that I was lacking. Lacking in my trust in God. My situation left me feeling vulnerable. Everything that is going on seems so overwhelming and impossible for me to do anything about. My trust in God had waivered. Not that I did not believe His word; but weariness had settled in and anger that I had to even go through what I am going through. Oh! None of it is God’s fault. But we always seem to place the blame on the ones we love the most. Be honest; at one time or another, the thought has come that if God loved us, why did He allow this to happen. Why is He allowing these things to go on? The truth of the matter is, most of the situations we find ourselves face with are due to the consequences of other people’s actions and ours. Things must run their course. And when God is cleaning house and cleaning up the messes that others have caused—even the things we caused—we must remember that God does things His way and in His time.

Though things were impossible for us, there is nothing impossible for Him. When we trust God to take care of us, to lead us and to do what is necessary; we will understand that He has always had our best interest. He has always been there; even through the storms and difficulties—He has been right there. Those things that appear impossible for us? They are not for Him. The things we have difficulty getting through and pass? Trust God to bring us through because there really is nothing impossible for God.

My Beloveds, may the spirit of peace and prosperity finds permanent rest in your lives. I decree that every good thing that God has ordained for your life will become evident to you. Those the situations before you seem impossible and your hands are tied to do anything about it; trust God to bring you through. Remember that though it is impossible for you, nothing is impossible for God and He is showing up right on time. You are blessed. Now go…and be a blessing!

"Remember Your Strength"

I declare and decree that this week’s Reflections will be a continued source of encouragement and enlightenment for your heart, mind, and soul; bringing you peace in every area of your life. Remember: The Joy of the Lord is your strength. Do not get quiet during the test and storms when it comes to praying and speaking what God has promised you, though it may seem as though God is silent; He is waiting for YOU to speak the words He has already spoken to you. Remember that you have been declared the winner.

I did NOT go through all of those tests and trials and tribulations to give up now. I DID NOT make it through horrendous times; heartbreaking times just to let the enemy gain the upper hand and steal my joy and cripple my faith. NOT. HAPPENING. I will remember the strength that is within me every time some new roadblock, twist, turn, or test comes my way. I will remember that I already have the victory and that the joy of the Lord is my strength. What He's done before, He will do again...and I win!

Far too many of us are giving up when the enemy comes knocking at our door or knocking us down. Get back up and remember whose you are. Remember that you have gone through other things and made it through.

Oh. Sure. You are probably saying what so many others and I have said: "Why? Why do I always have to go through something? Can't I get a break?" Trust, I have been there, done that and the truth is, we do get our break. We can have peace in the midst of a storm. Just as it was spoken to me, I will say to you: To whom much is given, much is required. I know...that is not what you want to hear right now, but it is the truth.

God has equipped you and He has chosen you. The call and blessings on your life require a certain level of molding and shaping and testing; a certain level of heat. However, you will make it through if you remember that God is with you and that there is a purpose for your life. Also, the pain you have endured.

You will never know your purpose or full potential if you are not willing to risk it all and get out of your comfort zones. I did not want to settle. I did not want to get to a point in my life and wonder what could have been if I weren't so afraid or dared myself to keep pushing forward although the tests and trials seemed so overwhelming and never ending. 

My Beloveds, may the spirit of peace and prosperity find permanent rest in your lives. I decree that every good thing that God has ordained for your life will become evident to you. If you are not happy; if you know there is more; do not allow fear, weariness, any tests or trials, or the whispers of the enemy to stop you. Have faith. Remember all that God has already brought you through it all. Remember the strength that lies within you. You earned that! Now use it! You are blessed. Now go…and be a blessing!

Whatever you believe is holding you back? It is broken. Whoever has had a hold on you—whether through their actions or words—it is broken! Those entire negative words that held you bound and hostage; making you feel impotent and insignificant? Broken! Beloved, whether you knew it or not, I am here to inform you, to remind you that those things that have long bound you are broken! How do I know? God has told me so, and I have experienced the revelation for myself

I declare and decree that this week’s Reflections will be a continued source of encouragement and enlightenment for your heart, mind, and soul; bringing you peace in every area of your life. Let this week find you in deep meditation and intimacy with God. The Father wants to remind you of His promises and that you are no longer bound to the chains that once held you immobile. You are free. Now you just have to believe and accept that truth.

Beloveds, I must come to you from a place of love and experience. There is no need for me to sugarcoat my life's experiences. It is incumbent upon me to be transparent and have authenticity in my life and to who I am. To walk in and receive the manifestations of the blessings of God, then our minds must know and accept the truth. It must be free from the chains that have long bound us to a life of stagnation, fear, mediocrity, self-loathing and hatred, and a mind that is tortured and enslaved to the whispers of Satan.

Hear me today; there is more to your life than what some have led you to believe. There is more than you previous experiences have led you to believe. At the crux of it all is realizing and believing in your heart and mind that what God has for you is for you and that every chain in your life that has bound you; every shackle that has held you in a position are now broken. In fact, they have been broken for a long time, but you just needed to accept and believe this truth and see yourself through the eyes of our Creator, the One that created you in greatness, for greatness.

Our minds are powerful. We can literally think our way out of blessings, as well as into blessings. When we think on things for so long, and we entertain the constant lies and whispers of the enemy and the lies of the cohorts he has recruited to help steal from us, destroy us, and kill us—our heart begins to believe those things and our lives become a reflection of what our heart believes. We began to draw to us—like magnets—the very things that we do not want in our lives. Yet, our thoughts are on the negative. The constant barrage of lies and vitriol weakens us. Nevertheless, God desires for us to let go; to close our ears; to pull down those strongholds, and not entertain or think on the whispers and lies but instead speak His word and promises, counteracting the lies of the enemy before they are embedded in our hearts.

God has already released us. We are already free from those shackles. All we have to do is seek the face of God and His will. Meditate on His word and His promises. Denounce the contrary thoughts and whispers of the enemy and say what God says concerning us.

My Beloveds, may the spirit of peace and prosperity finds permanent rest in your lives. I decree that every good thing that God has ordained for your life will become evident to you. Declare and Decree what God has spoken, to the atmosphere. "I declare and decree that I am all that God has ordained me to be! I walk in the greatness that He has created in me, I am free and forgiven from all things in my past; including the harmful and hateful words, and lies spoke into my life. I denounce everything that does not line up with God's promise for my life. I walk confidently today, and each day in the victory already afforded to me! I am free! And every shackle and chain are broken!" You are blessed. Now go…and be a blessing!

"Taste of God's Goodness!"

“Taste of God’s Goodness”

I declare and decree that this week’s Reflections will be a continued source of encouragement and enlightenment for your heart, mind, and soul; bringing you peace in every area of your life. Beloveds; spend some intimate time with the Father this week to be reacquainted with the taste of Hid goodness. Do not allow the worries of the day supersede your time in the presence of the Lord at His table.

Have you, Beloved? Have you tasted of the goodness of God lately? Have tasted of the goodness of God at all?

It is not about answered prayers or the gaining of prosperity or material things. However, it is about the pure experience of the love and goodness of God. The joy of an intimate relationship with our Creator and getting to know His heart, who He is, and who we are-- the "us" He created an ordained us to be.

When, if ever, was the last time you got lost in the presence of God? When was the last time you lost all track of time and only cared about being in the presence of your Creator, who was filling you with His love and wisdom, and simultaneously healing old and new wounds and soothing heartaches and giving hope and directions to the visions He has placed in you?

Oh, Beloveds, I admit to my folly today. I admit to having slacked in my intimate time with my Father because I allowed other things to get in my mental space, such as hurt, worry, fear, doubt, and anger. I allowed the whispers of the enemy to overshadow what God was saying to my heart, speaking to my soul. For a moment, I forgot what the goodness of God tasted like. I forgot what His peace felt like; what trusting in Him completely felt like. I forgot how sweet to the soul and spirit it could be when I fully rest in my Lord; believing in His word and promises, and that He has me. No matter what things appear to be.

Beloveds, taste the goodness of God. Allow God to usher you to a seat at His table that is overflowing with love, peace, joy, happiness, and all manner of great things that we crave in this sometimes bland, cold, and cruel world.

My Beloveds, may the spirit of peace and prosperity finds permanent rest in your lives. I decree that every good thing that God has ordained for your life will become evident to you. One taste of God's goodness will change your life forever. You will never forget it. Though you may move away from His table, there will always be a piece of your soul that knows and understands and will remind you of the tastes that you experienced while in the Father's presence, at His table, at a place set just for you—a seat that will always remain, that waits for you to occupy. You are blessed. Now go…and be a blessing!

I declare and decree that this week’s Reflections will be a continued source of encouragement and enlightenment for your heart, mind, and soul; bringing you peace in every area of your life. Let your heart be fine-tuned to the frequency of Holy Spirit. Do not allow the voices and opinions of others to rob you of what God has ordained for your life, and who He has called you to be.

Self-interpretation of who we are often is obscured by the relentless opinions of those we allow to influence our lives. There are certain people in our lives who will never see us as God sees us, or as we see ourselves. If we are not careful, their opinions will soon become our very own, and limit us to where we move on this earth and how far we will go.

I am thoroughly convinced that we do not really know freedom until we make the conscious choice to shut our ear-gates to the world and fine-tune them to the frequency of God. I firmly believe that, should we become so intimate with our Creator that would be no room or space for contrary opinions to what God has spoken of us and into our lives. There would be no room to take place and have an influence on how we perceive ourselves.

Life, as we know, is not easy. We are faced with many challenges that sometimes stretch us to the point we feel we will break and never be the same. Perhaps, to a degree, that is what the Father wants. For us to break—to break free from the pain, hurt, lies, voices, and places and things, that have long hindered us from walking in the godly freedom that He has already secured for us.

How can we, though? How can we fully walk in the word of God; His promises while still entertaining and believing the lies and false prophecies of those who say they want what’s best for us, but they themselves, have never consulted or sought out God on our behalf—let alone their own?  

We have to do better. We have to come higher in our thoughts of who we are and who we are in God. Far too often—without any cognizant—we believe what others have spoken about and over our lives. We have limited our reach and our belief in ourselves based upon opinions and conjecture of people’s opinions who have no real knowledge of who we are and what it is we truly need or desire in and for our lives. Our self-interpretation has been lacking in positivity and overflowing in negativity.

It’s time to make a change, Beloveds. It is time to change the frequency of our ear-gates. Change it from that of those who have had too much influence over our lives [even if we love and respect them] to the one frequency that knows and loves us best—our Creator; our Savior, our Redeemer. Let the frequency of our heart, mind, and soul be fine-tuned to that of God. Do not miss anything else in life that God has ordained for you by limiting yourself to the opinions of those who do not know or understand the future that God has ordained for you.

My Beloveds, may the spirit of peace and prosperity finds permanent rest in your lives. I decree that every good thing that God has ordained for your life will become evident to you. Change the channel, Beloveds. And allow God to rest, rule, and abide in your hearts; leading you to victory each and every time. You are blessed. Now go…and be a blessing!

Make no mistakes, Beloved, when it comes to God and His provision. God will provide for the vision He has given you. You just have to be diligent and disciplined and work. Even through storms, difficulties, doubts, and uncertainties.

I declare and decree that this week’s Reflections will be a continued source of encouragement and enlightenment for your heart, mind, and soul; bringing you peace in every area of your life. Whatever dreams the Father has placed in you, be inspired by the knowledge that God will be with you every step of the way and will make ways for those dreams that have become visions to come to pass.

The struggles and tests we often face are all a part of life's journey and learning not only its lesson but growing and becoming who God has already ordained you to be and says you already are. We just have to work through all the lies we have come to believe about ourselves...especially the lie that we cannot or are not worthy. All lies. When God calls you, He equips you; even if it is on the job training. You will succeed once you believe and begin to put the work in.

Be inspired, Beloveds. Be inspired to chase after your dreams. Allow them to settle into your soul until they become actual visions that you can seem to touch, taste, and feel. Ponder them in your heart. Take them before the Lord and allow Him to bless you with the knowledge and wisdom [Plan] of what steps you are to take next. Write the vision down. Write down the instructions that God gives you. Even if they sound strange and out of the ordinary—write them down. There is something powerful about the actual act of writing out the plans God has given you. Follow the Father’s instructions and trust Him to provide the provision for the visions He has placed in your heart and believe. Believe though things may appear one way; have belief in the promise and the word of God for your life. This will cause you to soar. Believing in our God ushers us into a whole other dimension—a realm where begin to see our visions come to pass and the removal of any hindrances in our life.

The Father has already provided the provision for the dreams and visions He has placed in you. Do not make your visions about chasing money; that is a sure way to have your visions dissipate or never happen. Dream your dreams. Do not stress about how the dreams and visions are going to happen—God has already provided and made ways and paths yet revealed.

My Beloveds, may the spirit of peace and prosperity finds permanent rest in your lives. I decree that every good thing that God has ordained for your life will become evident to you. Become that eagle that soars. Although there may be storms, trials, difficulties, allow God to take you higher—to a higher ground with a greater level so that you can see what He has planned for your life. Therefore, you can see the promises of His word settles and manifests in your life and the life of those you love and care for. You are blessed. Now go…and be a blessing.

“Just Listen”

“…he wise will hear and increase their learning, and the person of understanding will acquire wise counsel and the skill [to steer his course wisely and lead others to the truth]…” Proverbs 1:5 (AMP)

Have you ever just wanted someone just to listen to you? You did not want them to give advice, to tell you their opinion, or even answer any questions you may have stated. You just need someone to listen to you. To hear your heart and the words that are coming from your soul. Sometimes, Beloved, that is what God desires from us; for us to just listen.

I declare and decree that this week’s Reflections will be a continued source of encouragement and enlightenment for your heart, mind, and soul; bringing you peace in every area of your life. Though you may have many things running through your mind, and questions you want answered, I implore to take some time this week just to listen. Listen to what the Father wants to say to you without interjecting. God desires to speak a word to your soul, but He needs for you to get still and really open your ears and heart to listen to what the Father wants to tell you.

I am guilty, Beloveds, of being on both ends of the spectrum—of wanting to speak the contents of my heart and soul without any commentary on what I had to say. I just needed for the person to hear my heart; to truly hear what I was saying and understand me and where I was coming from. I have also been the person who was asked to listen. Sometimes I passed, but there were sometimes I failed because I interjected or stated my thoughts and opinion when all the person wanted was for me to listen; to hear what they were trying to say and express from their heart and soul.

I admit, sometimes it is hard for me not to interject because I am a nurturer and a fixer. I am also a teacher and when I see the answer before me, I want to rush in and save the person from going the wrong way or to soothe them; when most times all they need is someone to hear them; not to comment or interject or even give an answer. Just listen; especially with your heart.

Beloveds, this is what God desires from us many a time—just to listen to Him. Quiet our mind, our thoughts, our perceptions, and just listen to what He has to say to our hearts. Often bogged down with everyday life; with the cares of this world, filled with worry, hurt, pain, and doubt—our minds are cluttered and cannot hear the voice of God and what it is He is saying to us. When we pray, we do not wait to hear what the Father says, we bombard Him, instead, with questions; with why’s, what’s, and how’s; instead of coming boldly in belief for what we ask for, then getting still and waiting on God...waiting for His answers and instructions, His directions. God has much to tell us. If only we would be still long enough, to hear what He is saying.

My Beloveds, may the spirit of peace and prosperity find permanent rest in your lives. I decree that every good thing that God has ordained for your life will become evident to you. Though you may have many questions you desired answered, try trusting God to have the answers already you seek. Listen more than you speak this week. Try it God’s way and see how many of the answers you seek indeed are already answered. God always knows what you need even before you ask. We just have to listen more and talk less. You are blessed. “What Does Your Heart Say?”

I declare and decree that this week’s Reflections will be a continued source of encouragement and enlightenment for your heart, mind, and soul; bringing you peace in every area of your life. Make the time this week to get intimate with God. Take time out to reflect upon what is in your heart and what it is saying to you. Many of us have ignored what our hearts have been screaming at us for quite some time. Now, many of our hearts are growing quiet from despair. Take the time this week and become acquainted with what your heart is saying.

If you are not, sure of who you are I implore you to seek God for yourself. When you get to know God, you will get to know yourself. Moreover, once you know yourself, do not forget who you are in the process of relationships, trials, tests, heartaches, and even successes.

One of the key things to know is who we are and following what is best for our lives is to know what our hearts say. Far too many of us have too much clutter in our souls, in our minds, from the voices of everyone else and their opinions. Somewhere along the way, their voice has gotten louder, as our own voice has gotten quieter until we no longer recognize our own thoughts and desires. Instead, we become doormats for everyone else; allowing people to walk all over us, use us, then discard us, just as we have done to our own hearts; rarely listening to what it is saying to us anymore.

Perhaps many of us are afraid to listen to what our hearts have to say. It is obvious that for most, we have stopped following our hearts long ago. More than likely, we encountered some heartache and disappointment; now we are afraid of what our heart may say because we no longer want to risk being hurt or disappointed by putting ourselves out there and taking a chance.

Isn’t that what life is?—One big risk?—Not really knowing what is going to work until we at least try? We often like to plan things—even our experiences. But if you live long enough and have ever dared to love, then you know that you cannot plan for the heart. The heart knows what it wants and when. Yes. We can certainly ignore it and overrule it (as many of us have) and do our own things, only to find ourselves coming full circle.

This kind of heartache and disappointment often leads us to other avenues instead of listening to our hearts and following what it is speaking to us. We find ourselves allowing others to have more authority over aspects of our lives than we would if we felt confident and assured in ourselves and in knowing the truth of our hearts.

I implore you, Beloveds, to follow your heart. Listen to what your heart is speaking to you. We have allowed so many voices into our heads; gave them space to rent that should have been exclusive property. Our lives are no longer our own. Most of us are confused, and always seeking the opinions and approval of others before we can even make a sound decision.

Enough is enough. It is time to quiet the voices, get still, and follow your heart. Find out what your heart is saying, and then do it! Our hearts instinctively know the voice of God. It is we, and our minds, that determine if we are going to follow.

I cannot and will not pretend about who I am, or whose I am. I am a child of God who seeks to please my Father in heaven. I want the works that I do, the contents of my mind and heart to be pleasing to Him. I want EVERYTHING that He says He has ordained for my life. I know that the only way this will happen is if I follow my heart, where He resides and sits upon its throne.

Too many have given their advice on who we should be, what, and how we should say and do things. Yet, not near one of them know our hearts. They do not know the contents of our heart or even the plans that God has ordained for us. So why, then, do we expect them to lead us to the place that only God has the roadmap and instructions to?

It is time, Beloveds, to evict a couple people from our lives, and evict all those who have rented space in your head; either by permission or by trespassing.

My Beloveds, may the spirit of peace and prosperity finds permanent rest in your lives. I decree that every good thing that God has ordained for your life will become evident to you. What does your heart say? Talk to God. Heed His advice, and begin living the life He has ordained just for you. Listen to what your heart has to say. Follow your heart and be encouraged that God has you, in the palm of His Hand. You are blessed. Now go…and be a blessing!

I cannot pretend—to myself—hat all is going perfectly well. That, I am not experiencing some troubles and trials, heartaches and some heaviness. I may be able to put on a smile for everyone else and continue to take care of business, while others (with the exception of my closest circle or confidante) will be no wiser of the inner turmoil that I am suffering.

There are many things I do not know in this life and many things I do. Such as love, happiness, joy, hurt, pain, sorrow, and betrayal, just to name a few. However, one of the greatest things I have come to know and learn is that I can ALWAYS look up to God when so many things cause me to want to look and keep my head down and my mouth closed.

I pray today’s Reflections brings comfort and peace to your heart and mind. I decree it be a continued source of encouragement and inspiration; bringing peace and revelation to your heart, mind, and soul. Do not hide the pain in your spirit and heart. Let it out. Now is not the time to get quiet, but to speak to God, who is there; even when you feel everyone else has gone. Talk with God; He is listening and waiting to give you exactly what you need.

I may be able to hide my pain and turmoil from others, but I will never be able to hide it from myself or be able to pretend it is not like a boulder on a chain around my neck. I realized a long time ago, you could not be free or move forward if you hide from yourself, lie to yourself, or pretend that there is nothing wrong.

This, my Beloveds, is where prayer is essential. The anchor will hold you down. The lifeline that will keep you tethered to the heavenly Father. The connection that will give you peace of mind and heart and the strength to go on

Prayer gives strength to our spiritual and natural lives. Prayer is what keeps us grounded and open to hearing the voice of God. It is a conversation between our Creator and ourselves. It is not just making a list of wants and repeating them. God is not Santa Claus. Nor is He a magician, waiting to do magic tricks and perform.

Our answers, our strength, our joy, our help—all come from God, and whoever He leads into our lives, to be the representative of Him in this earth. I believe that there are angels all around us in human form. We just have to open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to see and believe and experience the wonders of God's infinite and unconditional love for us.

God is our Father, our Creator, and our Help. He is our Deliverer, our Savior, our Comforter, our Teacher, our connection to who WE really are. Our Father is the One we can ALWAYS turn to—no matter what we are facing.

Far too many times, and for far too long we allow pain, heartache, and disappointments blind and bound us from what is right in front of us. No. We cannot ignore the pain. We must confront and deal with it. However, we do not have to go it all alone; isolated, allowing our feelings to get the best of us.

In my life's journey, I have come to learn just how scared the enemy gets when we pray. He would prefer if we got quiet, did not speak, and held everything in. He would love it if we would evade what bothers us and pretend it does not exist. Because it would give him the continued opportunity to torment us; to mess with our minds; to create fear, and keep us bound by that fear.

The devil is a lie! And the truth—us speaking our truth—will not only set us free, but allow us to walk in the spirit of love, power, and a sound mind (2Timothy 1:7), giving God reign over our mind, our thoughts, and our heart where what we think of eventually resides.

Beloveds, we can look to God. Listen to His voice. Follow His instructions. Moreover, be open to the people He is sending in our life this season to aid us in moving forward. It may not be easy; the pain still very raw. However, God will be with us; that soothing balm that brings comfort, peace, strength, and a reminder that His love for us is not only unconditional but also boundless. We just have to keep the faith and never stop reaching or believing, or praying.

My Beloveds, may the spirit of peace and prosperity find permanent rest in your lives. I decree that every good thing that God has ordained for your life will become evident to you. Do not allow the heartache and pain of current circumstances to keep your mouth shut when it comes to prayer. Meditate on the Word; pray diligently, and be open to who God sends your way. We must be in communication with the Father to know and recognize whom God has ordained to be our help in this time of need. Have faith and shut the enemy down finally. You are blessed. Now go…and be a blessing!

"Neutralize the Enemy"

“Neutralize the Enemy”

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

There is no one more for you or on your side than God. From the moment you were a thought, He has made certain to protect you, provide for you, and destroy the enemy for you. Now, as you move forward in the will of God and you desire to be and do all that He as promised, the enemy will do his part to try and distract you, disturb you, and if he can, destroy and kill you. Do not allow it. It is time to neutralize the enemy.

I declare and decree that this week’s Reflections will be a source of encouragement for your heart, mind, and soul. Allow it to penetrate to the marrow of your spirit and soul, confirming the very things that God has already spoken to you.

Beloveds, I hope you are ready to live the life you have prayed and believed for. I pray that you are ready to walk in your greatness. Because, once the enemy is neutralized in your life for a season, it is time to move full steam ahead. No procrastinating. No hesitating. If you do either, you will allow the enemy to gain his footing.

It is time to neutralize the enemy. How? By having courage, walking in faith and doing exactly what God instructs us to do. We cannot wait when it comes to obedience to the Father. We must be swift to act, and not allow a spirit of procrastination to set in.

When we procrastinate in the things we need to do, we give time and room for the enemy to get in. Trust me; an inch will never be enough for him. The enemy seeks to kill, steal, and destroy. Do you think the enemy wants you believing God? Do you believe that he likes it when you show courage, walk in the will of God, and follow His instructions? Do you think he likes when you do not waste time mulling things over but instead move quickly in the word of God?

He does not. A person who has a made up mind, who moves quickly on the instructions of God leaves no room for the enemy to get in. The enemy wants to destroy who we are, our relationships, steal our future and promises, and kill our spirits, our visions, our faith, our love, and our humanity.

The only way to neutralize the enemy is to be sold out to God, walking in faith and obedience. By, standing on God's word and walking in truth, living truth, and not in fear or trepidation, or procrastinating on the things of God, we strip the enemy of any and all ammunition he will try and use against us.

Faith neutralizes the enemy. As does obedience and love. And guess what else neutralizes him? Forgiveness. Yes. When we forgive ourselves and we forgive others, we let go of those albatrosses around our necks. We are not walking with guilt that hinders us and keeps us from walking in truth and faith. Or, from hearing and recognizing the voice of our God.

It is time, that the enemy has been neutralized in our lives. Bound from doing any more harm and destruction; from causing chaos and confusion; from creating dissension and self-loathing. Obedience to God gives us leverage over the machinations of the enemy. He is powerless to do anything other than what God allows him to do. See the enemy for who and what he is. Do not underestimate him or believe that you are strong enough to fight him alone on his turf. We need God. We need his power and His covering. And we need to walk in His love and truth. When we do, the enemy cannot get in, unless we invite him in.

My Beloveds, may the spirit of peace and prosperity find permanent rest in your lives. I decree that every good thing that God has ordained for your life will become evident to you. Beloveds, do not give the enemy any room in your life. Do not give him an inch to get in and try to destroy you. Walk in obedience and confidence in God. Do not procrastinate; move quickly on the things of God. He gave us the power. You are blessed. Now go…and be a blessing!
