'God Cannot Lie"

Reflections4Life March 29, 2020

God Cannot Lie”

God is not a man, that he should lie, Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and will he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and will he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

Scripture Contemplation: Joshua 1; Numbers 23; Job 5; Jeremiah 29; Ephesians 3; Philippians 1...

Do you trust God? Do you believe what God has spoken concerning your life? Do you believe He is able to do just what He said? Are you confident in God? Do you walk in confidence and faith? Or, are you bound by fear and unbelief? Have the current circumstances in this world shaken your faith? Know this truth, beloved. Hold it in your heart and remind yourself daily: God. Cannot. Lie.
I decree that this week's Reflections will be a continued source of encouragement and inspiration for your heart, mind, and soul. I pray you will believe with all your heart, that no matter what you are faced with; what this world is hit with—this is your season—your season to believe and walk in the promises of God. That, you will know in your heart, and believe with all your soul, that whatever God has promised you; He is making good on them.
I understand clearly those times when you feel that none of what you have been waiting for is going to happen. I understand and clearly identify with the thought, that maybe God has forgotten you. Perhaps what He has promised is not going to happen. I know what it is like to wait and wait, and as you wait, to feel your faith get a little shaky; to the point that you almost stop believing. I have been there, beloved. I understand, that in light of everything going on—the coronavirus, the quarantine, the loss of employment and finances for many; how it affects your state of mind and faith. I understand. However, I am holding on. Just as I held on before, by speaking the word of God. By meditating on His word. By praying, fasting, and surrounding myself with like-minded people.
In this world, we are surrounded daily with people and things that are contrary to our walk, in God. We are faced with wickedness and fear, and doubt and unbelief. We often walk a fine line while navigating this narrow path every day. Yet, we must continue to believe in our God. We must continue to walk in confidence and in faith, knowing that God has us covered. That, what we are waiting upon is coming to pass. But, in the meantime, we have many obstacles to contend with. Many battles we will fight. Yet, through it all, we can overcome and see the promises of God fulfilled in our life, if we follow God's instructions.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Ephesians 3:12-13 whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him. Wherefore I ask that ye may not faint at my tribulations for you, which are your glory.
Yes. Times are difficult right now. Our paths are bumpy. Things will happen in our life that will look nothing like the blessings of God. In fact, it may even look like we don't serve God or that there is a God. Yet, God tells us that this is a faith walk. That, we cannot walk this walk, or run this race by what we see. We must believe and walk by faith. We must endure the hard times and have courage, believing that God will see us through each and every time.
These are those times beloved, when God is conditioning our heart. These are the times when our faith is being developed. When God is preparing us for what lies ahead. These are the times when you are so close to the manifestations of God's promises in your life coming to pass, that the enemy is hell-bent on causing you to lose focus and give up. To walk away from your miracle, from your blessings and promises.
Don't you let that happen! Don't you dare come this far and give up on God, when God has not given up on you! God has equipped us with everything we need to make it through this race. He has already assured us the victory. Jesus made us that assurance when He went to the Cross and defeated hell and death.
Everything the enemy is doing is designed to get you to forfeit your promises. He is strategic in his war against you. You must be strategic in your prayers and faith. Do not grow weary while doing the will of God. Though those times of weariness will come, shake it off by remembering the promises of God. Don't just read the word, pray the word. Stand firm in what God has told you. Now is not the time to get quiet. You must declare and decree what God has spoken concerning you. Declare His word to the atmosphere.
Surround yourself with those who can encourage you and not commiserate with you. Remember all that God has already done for you. We often forget past victories because of the severity of the current circumstances. People change, circumstances change, but God does not change. He will keep His promises to you. He will complete in your life that which He has started.
Do not allow the spirit of fear to block you. Fear is a tormenting spirit that will blind you and keep you from receiving all that God has ordained. It is subtle in nature, and can blossom into doubt, than unbelief. God has blessed us with power, love, and a sound mind. His power that works in us. His love lives in us. The mind of Christ rests in us.
I don't care what it appears to be; what it looks like at the moment; what the news reports are saying, you can believe with every fiber of your being, that God is not a liar. He cannot lie. He will do just what He said. We must believe. We must have courage. We must have faith. We must learn to pull down the strongholds and evil imaginations that the enemy uses against us. Greater is God in us than he that is in this world. If God was not so great, and your life was not so precious and valuable, and destined for greatness, as well, the enemy wouldn't take another look at you. But I have a feeling that just as Job, God has been bragging on His children again. And if God believes we can pass these tests, and be all He called us to be; then it's about time we start believing it, too and believing in Him with all our heart and soul.
My Beloved, I decree that the spirit of peace and of prosperity has found permanent rest in your lives. Whatever you take from today, remember this: God cannot lie. He has already worked things out for you. His promises will come to pass. Stay in with a heart of faith. Believe in Him with all your heart. Trust Him where you cannot trace Him. Continue in prayer and meditation. Leave the enemy to God. He knows just what to do. You are blessed. Now go...and be a blessing!

“Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life.”’ Ezekiel 37:9

Scripture Contemplation: Joshua 1; Psalm 1:2; 4:4; 27:4; Song of Solomon 4:6…

Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. Did you know there was a proper way to breathe? That, you can release stress, gain energy, clear your mind with just the way you breathe.
I decree that today’s Reflections bring comfort and peace to your heart and mind. May it be a continued source of encouragement and inspiration. Meditate on the goodness of God and allow Him to breathe into you a new life, along with His peace and joy. May His cleansing breath wash all fears, heartaches, and pains away, as He restores.
As the world continues to face the devastating effects of COVOID-19; the loss of life, the loss of a sense of freedom, the change in how we live from day to day; it feels like we are collectively holding our breath, too afraid to exhale, for fear of what is coming next.
Did you ever realize how often we hinder our breathing when we are under pressure? How many times have we told someone to breathe when hit with something traumatic? Because it is at that moment that most of us feel like the breath has been taken from us. That, perhaps holding our breath will stop whatever is happening from continuing.
I have been there countless times. Your heart is aching so badly. Your brain is tumbling from all that has occurred. You can't seem to get a hold of your thoughts and what to do next. Our world is besieged right now by an evil entity in the form of a pandemic that is claiming lives at an alarming rate, and changing everything about the way we currently live. Yet, it is not something that the world hasn’t faced before nor something that the Bible did not speak of; a warning to believers.
Breathe, Beloveds. Take a deep breath, hold it, exhale slowly, and then repeat. As trite, as that may sound to some right now; breathe in the strength and calmness of God. Allow Him to relax your mind and direct your path. Because, without a clear mind, chaos ensues, and will only make matters worse, not better. We need a clear heart and mind to hear God’s instructions.
Meditation is a wonderful way to work on our breathing and learning to clear our minds. In the word of God, it tells us to meditate on his word day and night. Meditate on the goodness and promises of God.
Do not meditate on the problems facing you. Meditate on the One who can solve them. Breathe in His goodness and mercy. Let His peace envelop you. We carry so many burdens in our hearts. We hold onto so much fear, trepidation, and anger. It's time to let it all go. It is time to inhale the peace of God and exhale the worries and the chaos and start following the instructions of God. This is more than a pandemic; this is a wakeup call for the children of God to get back in alignment with the heavenly Father. To, repent so God may heal our land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
My Beloveds, I decree that the spirit of peace and prosperity has found permanent rest in your lives. I pray that every good thing that God has ordained for your life will become evident to you. When a crisis hits, and the enemy is attacking, take a moment and breathe. Take slow, cleansing breaths and let the calmness of God overwhelm you. Breathe, my friend. Breathe. You are blessed. Now go…and be a blessing.

"Peace in Chaos"

Reflections4Life March 15, 2020

“Peace in Chaos”

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” Matthew 6:25-27

Scripture Contemplation: Ecclesiastes 3; Matthew 6; 1 Peter 5…

Who is your trust in? Do you believe in the report of the Lord, or the report of the enemy, the news media, and social media? At this moment, there are people losing their minds because of the current pandemic, COVID-19 aka the Coronavirus. What’s worse? Those who call themselves believers have been the worst offenders, behaving in unseemly manners; totally forgetting that our peace, our healing, our help comes from the Lord.
There is chaos in these streets. People are forgetting about kindness, selflessness, humility, and helping the elderly, the sick, and those who cannot fend for themselves. God called us to a higher standard; to be the light on the hill in the midst of darkness. To be the salt of the earth that has lost its flavor.
I decree today’s Reflections brings comfort and peace to your heart and mind. I decree it be a continued source of encouragement and inspiration for your heart, mind, and soul. Be present at this moment. Do not dwell in the reports of man. Turn off the news for a while and open your word. Live in this moment with gratitude. Allow God to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding.
Before this new pandemic struck, how many of us were worrying about next week or next month? Most likely, only those who know what it is like to live paycheck to paycheck. Those who can only afford one meal a day. Those who rely upon schools as a form of daycare. How often do we stop, and be grateful, truly grateful for what we have been blessed with, and the ability to help someone else? This sudden crisis is not foreign or even sudden if we have been reading and meditating in the word of God. We would have heard the Lord speak to our hearts and prepare us for what was coming. We would be walking in peace and not chaos. Our hearts at rest, because we would have long ago been preparing for what was taking place now.
God is a faithful God. He does not leave His children unaware or unprepared. He knows our thoughts. He knows our hearts. He knows what we have gone through, and what lies before us. He encourages us to take no thought on tomorrow, about what we will eat or what we will wear. He has made it abundantly clear that He will take care of us. Yet, because of the chaos, we do not hear Him because of the fear and panic that have paralyzed us and arrested our faith and belief in God. We are behaving like the world, desensitized to the needs of others. How can we be a witness or a place of comfort and example of peace if we are allowing ourselves to be disturbed and unhinged by the current state we are living? We cannot. Instead, we are adding to the chaos and uncertainty.
At this moment, where are your thoughts? What is your focus on? Are you worried about the pandemic and relying on the reports of the Media? Or, are you fretting about what you have, or how you will make it for the weeks and possibly months to come? Or, do you trust God to see you and yours through these travailing times; trusting Him to continue to be your source and resource? Your anchor in the storm? Your shelter in the rain? Your Peace in chaos?
Be grateful for this moment. You are alive and have the opportunity to not only receive what God has for you but also the opportunity to be a vessel used by God to aid others in their times of need and uncertainty. Who’s going to look after the sick, shut-in, and elderly? Are you willing to share from your stockpile of abundance, believing that God will restore everything to you? Seek to do things the way God would have you to do. Be grateful for this moment.
My Beloveds, may the spirit of peace and prosperity find permanent rest in your lives. I decree that every good thing that God has ordained for your life will become evident to you. Live in this moment with the certainty that God has taken care of your every tomorrow. Let Him be your peace in the midst of chaos; the peace that surpasses all understanding. Do not miss the miracles of today wrapped up in things you cannot change. You are blessed. Now go and be a blessing.
